Federal regulations governing Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") and other United States Department of Housing and Urban Development
("HUD") programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of, and an opportunity to comment on, any amendments
to funding of HUD programs. The public is advised of the proposed amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) indicated below:
1. Discussion and proposed Resolution authorizing the transfer of CDBG funds from the Capital Improvements Program -Little Havana Community
Center Project ("CIP-LHCCP") in the amount of $100,000 to the Department of Public Facilities for the purchase and development of the site located
at 1320 Southwest 12`" Avenue, Miami, Florida.
2. Discussion and proposed Resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute Amendment No. 3 to the Agreement between the City of Miami and
Camara de Comercio Latina de los Estados Unidos, Inc. ("CAMACOL"), extending the Agreement end date from December 31, 2010 to March 30,
2012, for economic development activities associated with commercial facade projects in District 3.
' The adoption of this Ordinance/Resolution, by the City Commission, authorizes the City Manager to draft/ amend the appropriate City of Miami annual Action Plan.
t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review and comment period begins Tuesday, June 14, 2011, and ends Wednesday,
July 13, 2011. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, July 14, 2011 (public hearing).
t Draft copies will be available at the City of Miami Department of Community Development office located at 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 2nd floor, Miami, Florida, 33130. Comments to the
amendments must be submitted in writing to: 444 SW 2nd Avenue, 2nd floor, Miami, Florida, 33130: Attn: Natasha Bordes, and must be received no later than July 19, 2011.
Interested individuals are encouraged to attend this Public Hearing. The meeting site is accessible to the handicapped. Requests for special accommodations may be directed to the
