Purpose of Item: 1 An Ordinance to provide a waiver of permit fees procedure for construction, reconstruction and maintenance of certain Miami -Dade County Public Works Department roadway improvement projects within City of Miami limits. Background Information: The Miami -Dade County Public Works Department constructs, reconstructs and maintains roadways under the jurisdiction of the County within the limits of the City at no cost to the City. The County derives no revenue directly from the construction, reconstruction or maintenance of these roadways, and the County improved and maintained roadways beneficially serve the residents of the City.
