Purpose of Item:
To accept a matching funds grant from the Omni Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment
Agency (Omni CRA) for the Miami Woman's Club Baywalk Project, B-30731 and the Museum Park
Baywalk Project, B-30179, in an amount not to exceed $46,500 and $1,143,000, respectively; authorizing
the City Manager to execute the grant agreement and all documents necessary for said purpose.
Background Information:
The City has received grants from the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) for the Miami Woman's
Club Baywalk Project and the Museum Park Baywalk Project, which require a matching contribution.
Pursuant to Resolution Nos. CRA-R-11-0002 and CRA-R-11-0013, the Omni CRA will be assisting the
City with funding, in an amount not exceed $46,500, for the Miami Woman's Club Baywalk Project and
$1,143,000 for the Museum Park Baywalk Project. Therefore, itis necessary to enter into a grant
agreement for the acceptance of said funds.
