A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A MATCHING FUNDS GRANT FROM THE
OMNI REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY,
FOR THE MIAMI WOMAN'S CLUB BAYWALK PROJECT, B-30731 AND THE
MUSEUM PARK BAYWALK PROJECT, B-30179, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$46,500 AND $1,143,000, RESPECTIVELY; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE A GRANT AGREEMENT, IN SUBSTANTIALLY THE ATTACHED
FORM, FOR SAID PURPOSE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami ("City") has received grants from the Florida Inland Navigation
District for the Miami Woman's Club Baywalk Project and the Museum Park Baywalk Project, which
require a matching contribution; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution Nos. CRA-R-11-0002, adopted January 31, 2011, and
CRA-R-11-0013,adopted March 10, 2011, the Omni Redevelopment District Community
Redevelopment Agency ("Omni CRA") will be assisting the City of Miami with funding, in an amount
not exceed $46,500, for the Miami Woman's Club Baywalk Project and $1,143,000 for the Museum
Park Baywalk Project; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to enter into a grant agreement for the acceptance of said funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. A grant acceptance from the Omni CRA for the Miami Woman's Club Baywalk Project,
B-30731 and the Museum Park Baywalk Project, B-30179, in an amount not to exceed $46,500 and
$1,143,000, respectively, is authorized.
Section 3. The City Manager is authorized {1} to execute the Grant Agreement, in substantially
the attached form, for said purpose.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor. {2}

{1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be
imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City
Charter and Code provisions.
{2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall
become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
