Enclosed you will find an ad for notice of a public hearing to be held by the City
Commission on May 26, 2011, for the purpose of granting to Tampa Electric Company, a
Florida Corporation, (d/b/a Peoples Gas System), a perpetual non-exclusive easement of
approximately nine (9) foot wide by twenty one (21) foot long strip of City -owned
property located at NW 3rd Street and NW 16th Avenue, Miami, Florida (also known as
Orange Bowl Complex).
Please place the ad in accordance with public hearing requirements of the City
Commission.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
A public hearing will be held by the City Commission of the City of Miami, Florida on May 26,
2011, at 9:00 AM at City Hall, located at 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida, for the
purpose of granting the following:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A GRANT OF EASEMENT, TO
TAMPA ELECTRIC COMPANY, A FLORIDA CORPORATION, (D/B/A
PEOPLES GAS SYSTEM), A PERPETUAL, NON-EXCLUSIVE EASEMENT
OF APPROXIMATELY NINE (9) FOOT WIDE BY TWENTY ONE (21) FOOT
LONG STRIP OF CITY -OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT NW 3RD
STREET AND NW 16Tn AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA (ALSO KNOWN AS
ORANGE BOWL COMPLEX), FOR THE INSTALLATION, MAINTENANCE
AND REPAIR. OF. NATURAL GAS FICILITIES OVER,UNDER AND UPON ..
SAID FACILITIES, WITH THE RIGHT TO RECONSTRUCT, IMPROVE,
ADD TO, CHANGE AND REMOVE ALL OR ANY OF THE FACILITIES
WITHIN SAID EASEMENT.
All interested persons are invited to appear and may be heard concerning these items. Should any
person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter
considered at this hearing, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is
made, including all testimony and evidence upon any appeal may be based (F.S.286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
