PROGRAM ("HOME") FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $42,773, HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES FOR
PERSONS WITH AIDS ("HOPWA") FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $72,558, NEIGHBORHOOD
STABILIZATION PROGRAM ("NSP") FUNDS, IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,597, SECTION 8
PROGRAM FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $33,759, AND OTHER PROGRAM FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF $19,191, FOR A TOTAL AMOUNT OF $331,485, TO THE RESPECTIVE
DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT ADMINISTRATION FUNDS FOR INDIRECT
COST ALLOCATION, AS SPECIFIED IN EXHIBIT "A", ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED;
AUTHORZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR SAID

Background Information:
Pursuant to 24 CFR 85.22 all costs associated with the administration of the HUD funds are subject
to OMB Circular 87.
OMB Circular 87 allows an allocation of indirect cost associated with the administration of federal
funds subject to approval by a federal cognizant agency.
On November 19, 2010 the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development _(HUD) approved
an indirect cost rate of 20% for all federal funds administered by the City for the 2010-2011 fiscal
year.
The Administration recommends the allocation of CDBG funds, in the amount of $122,607, HOME
funds in the amount of $42,773, HOPWA funds, in the amount of $72,558, NSP funds, in the amount
of $40,597, Section 8 funds in the amount of $33,759, and all other programs in the amount of
$19,191, for a total amount of $331,485, to the respective Department of Community Development
administration funds for indirect cost allocation, as specified in Exhibit "A", attached and
incorporated.
