HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-11-0210City of Miami Legislation Resolution: R-11-0210 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.miamigov.com File Number: 11-00384 Final Action Date: 5/26/2011 A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S), AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ACCEPT ONE HUNDRED TWENTY (120) RIGHT-OF-WAY DEEDS OF DEDICATION, FOR FUTURE WIDENING OF STREETS IN THE CITY OF MIAMI; APPROVING THE RECORDATION OF SAID DEEDS IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA. WHEREAS, the City of Miami Department of Public Works ("Department") recommends the acceptance of one hundred twenty (120) Right -of -Way Deeds of Dedication for future widening of streets in the City of Miami ("City"); and WHEREAS, the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Right -of -Way Deeds; and WHEREAS, one hundred twenty owners (120) executed Right -of -Way Deeds, conveying said property to the City; and WHEREAS, said Right -of -Way Deeds have been recorded in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida, and by reference are made a part hereof as if fully incorporated; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The City Manager is authorized {1} and directed to accept one hundred twenty (120) Right -of -Way Deeds of Dedication as described in "Exhibit A", attached and incorporated. Section 3. The City Clerk is directed to keep copies of the one hundred twenty (120) Right -of -Way Deeds of Dedication that have been provided. Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of the Mayor.{2} Footnotes: City of Miami Page 1 of 2 File Id: 11-00384 (Version: 1) Printed On: 10/6/2017 File Number: 11-00384 Enactment Number: R-11-0210 {1} The herein authorization is further subject to compliance with all requirements that may be imposed by the City Attorney, including but not limited to those prescribed by applicable City Charter and Code provisions. {2} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor votes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
