RE: Proposed Settlement for City Commission Meeting —May 12, 2011
John Anton vs. City of Miami
File No. 11-00348
The attached proposed Resolution seeks authorization for settlement of all claims
against the City of Miami by the above claimant, in the amount of $35,000.
These workers' compensation actions were brought by John Anton, a former City
of Miami solid waste collector, for injuries Mr. Anton sustained in the course and scope
of his employment with the City of Miami.
The Office of the City Attorney has investigated and evaluated these c aC ims and
dates of accident and has approved the recommendation of this settlement. Funds, in the
amount of $35,000 are available from Account No. 05002.301001.524000.0000.00000.
