Law Department Matter ID No. Purpose of Item: To authorize the City Manager to execute a Covenant of Construction Agreement with Miami -Dade County (County), to allow the City to construct and maintain City owned standard improvements on the County owned street of NW 17th Avenue. The standard improvements consist of new guardrail and piperail installation on the western sidewalk, as described in the attached Exhibit A. Background Information: The City has requested permission from the County to install standard improvements on NW 17th Avenue. A Covenant of Construction Agreement is necessary in order to complete the improvements located on the County's property. The City shall be responsible at no cost to the County for the maintenance, repair and replacement, if necessary, of the improvements installed under this Agreement.
