The first annual Revolt Film Festival as part of the Revolt Music Conference is designed to showcase the potential
of the dynamic Miami Historic Overtown area while at the same time bringing international publicity to the Lyric
Theater with a view of attracting more business and opportunities to Overtown. Attendees from the Revolt Music
Conference and the local community will be invited to the Lyric Theater for a full day of festive activities that
includes musical and artist showcases, and film screenings.
Revolt Music Conference (AMC) Young Film Makers Showcase and Festival in Miarni at the Lyric Theater will
feature a young and upcoming film makers contest showcasing the best short films produced and directed by an
aspiring millennial ranging from 18-25 years old. The contest is open to both international and domestic
participants.
There will be an exclusive promo and local activation for Miarni based directors. (i.e. specifically targeting Miami
film schools and local community organizations to increase Miami submissions). Millennial's are asked to submit
treatments and actual short films to be voted on by a selected REVOLT committee of top industry experts. We will
narrow submissions from the first 100 to the top 5 films. The young directors of those films will travel to Miarni
where they will join local selected directors and introduce their film to a select audience at the Lyric Theater. Each
'art film will be introduced by the young directors, screened by the audience and then a short Q&A with the
director and the audience after the screening. We will then choose a winner live on air the following week. The
winner is then flown to Los Angeles to introduce their film to the world live on REVOLT TV.

attendees. This would include local vendors, local radio station live broadcast, giveaways, music and an overall
'teractive experience with a screen outside that would also show the films that are being screened inside the
..eater. The audience inside the theater will be a mixture of industry experts, press, local government officials, and
the general public. We will have a local celebrity or REVOLT talent host the actual event.
The day will continue with an evening reception at 7:00pm following by a national celebrity performance inside
