WHEREAS, the Omni Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") is responsible for carrying out community redevelopment activities and projects within its Redevelopment Area in accordance with its approved Redevelopment Plan; and WHEREAS, Section 4.4, D., at page 42, of the 2009 Omni Redevelopment Plan, lists the "[enhancement of] the area's visual attractiveness to businesses and residents," as a stated redevelopment objective; and WHEREAS, the CRA owns its office building which requires regular maintenance, including landscaping and the clearing of trash and debris; and WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners wishes to authorize the Executive Director to enter into a professional services agreement for a one (1) year term, with four (4) additional renewal terms, with Ad -pro USA, Inc. ("Ad -pro"), the lowest responsive bidder to a total cost not to exceed $6,000 per year; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE OMNI REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The Executive Director is authorized to enter into a professional services agreement between CRA and Ad -pro USA, Inc. to provide maintenance services on the CRA office building for a one (1) one (1) year term, with four (4) additional renewal terms, at a total cost not to exceed $6,000 per year. Section 3. Funds to be allocated from Omni Tax Increment Fund, "Other Contractual Services," Account Code No. 10040.920101.534000.0000.00000. Section 4.
