A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS' OF THE OMNI
REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO DISBURSE AN ADDITIONAL
$29,858.45 TO EDGEWATER CONSTRUCTION GROUP, INC. FOR ADDITIONAL
WORK NOT INCLUDED IN THE ORIGINAL PLAN BUT DEEMED NECESSARY BY
SEVERAL CITY OF MIAMI DEPARTMENTS FOR THE INTERIOR BUILD -OUT AND
PARKING LOT CONSTRUCTION OF THE HISTORIC FIRE STATION NO. 2,
LOCATED AT 1401 N. MIAMI AVENUE, NOW HOUSING THE CRA OFFICES,
THEREBY INCREASING THE NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT TO $970,358.45;
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO DISBURSE FUNDS, AT HIS
DISCRETION, UPON PRESENTATION OF INVOICES AND SATISFACTORY
DOCUMENTATION; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO
EXECUTE AND AMEND ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR SAID PURPOSE, IN
A FORM ACCEPTABLE TO GENERAL COUNSEL. FUNDS TO BE DRAWN FROM
THE OMNI TAX INCREMENT FUND, "CONSTRUCTION IN PROGRESS",
ACCOUNT CODE NO. 10040.920101.670000.0000.00000.
WHEREAS, the Omni Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") is
responsible for carrying out community redevelopment activities and projects within its Redevelopment
Area in accordance with its approved Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners, by Resolution No. CRA-R-12-005 authorized the
Executive Director to enter into an agreement with Edgewater Construction Group, Inc. in an amount
not to exceed of $940,500 for the interior build -out and parking lot construction of the historic fire
station no. 2, located at 1401 N. Miami Avenue, now housing the CRA offices; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the request of several city departments, there was a need for additional
work not included in the original plan, requiring an additional expenditure of $29,858.45, thereby
increasing the not to exceed amount to $970,358.45; and
WHEREAS, the funds are to be drawn from the Omni Tax Increment Fund, "Construction in
Progress", ACCOUNT CODE NO. 10040.920101.670000.0000.00000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE OMNI
REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORI DA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Executive Director is authorized to disburse an additional $29,858.45 to Edgewater
Construction Group, Inc. for additional work for the interior build -out and parking lot construction of the

CRA offices, thereby increasing the not to exceed amount to $970,358.45.
Section 3. The Executive Director is authorized to disburse funds, at his discretion, upon
presentation of Invoices and satisfactory documentation.
Section 4. The Executive Director is authorized to execute and amend all documents
necessary for said purpose, in a form acceptable to General Counsel.
Section 5. Funds to be drawn from the OMNI Tax Increment Fund, "Construction in Progress",
Account Code No. 10040.920101.670000.0000.00000.
Section 6. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
