A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE OMNI REDEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AUTHORIZING AN EXPENDITURE, IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED OF $7,900.44, TO HD SUPPLY, INC. FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
STREETLIGHT POLE THAT WAS KNOCKED DOWN AT THE WEST SIDE OF NORTH BAYSHORE
DRIVE BETWEEN NE 14TH AND NE 15TH STREETS. THIS STREETLIGHT IS LOCATED WITHIN
THE "SUPERBLOCK" AREA OF THE ADRIENNE ARSHT CENTER, A CRA MAINTAINED
STREETLIGHT FACILITY.
WHEREAS, the Omni Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") is responsible for
carrying out community redevelopment activities and projects within its Redevelopment Area in accordance with its approved
Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, Section 4.4, D., at page 42, of the 2009 Omni Redevelopment Plan lists the "[enhancement of] the area's
visual attractiveness to businesses and residents," as a stated redevelopment objective; and
WHEREAS, the CRA provides maintenance and repair services for streetlights in various locations within the Omni CRA
boundary generally around the Adrienne Arsht Center; and
WHEREAS, this streetlight pole that was knocked down at the west side of North Bayshore Drive between NE 14th and
NE 15th Streets, is within the Redevelopment Area and within the CRA's maintenance and repair pervue; and
WHEREAS, HD Supply, Inc. is the approved vendor for the City of Miami for the purchase of streetlight poles; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners wishes to authorize an expenditure, in an amount not to exceed of $7,900.44,
to HD Supply, Inc. for the purchase of a streetlight pole that was knocked down at the west side of North Bayshore Drive
between NE 14th and NE 15th Streets, within the "Superblock" area of the Adrienne Arsht Center.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE OMNI
REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and
incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes an expenditure, in an amount not to exceed of
$7,900.44, to HD Supply, Inc. for the purchase of a streetlight pole that was knocked down at the west side of North
Bayshore Drive between NE 14th and NE 15th Streets, within the "Superblock" area of the Adrienne Arsht Center.
Section 3. The Executive Director is authorized to execute all documents necessary for said purpose, in a form
acceptable to General Counsel.
Section 4. The Executive Director is authorized, at his discretion, to disburse the funds on a reimbursement basis

or directly vendors, upon presentation of invoices and satisfactory documentation.
Section 5. Funds to be allocated from Omni Tax Increment Fund, "Other Contractual Services", Account Code
No. 10040.920101.534000.0000.00000.
Section 6. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
