Harry and Associates, Inc. proposes to provide the services identified below for the project entitled "Restoration and Renovation of Historic Fire Station No. 2", #B-30579 ", pursuant to its Professional Service Agreement with the City of Miami for Architectural services, dated November 4, 2008 . I. GENERAL BACKGROUND: This project has developed in multiple phases. Phase 2a/3a (Structural strengthening of building & new roof) is currently under construction. Phase 2b/ 3b (Adaptive Reuse build out of interior space) is currently finalizing permitting and preparing for bidding. As requested by Mark Spanioli of CRA, MCHarry is please to provide a proposal to provide interior design plans services for all furnishings, cubicles, etc for their new offices. The scope and fee presented herein is for of approx. 4,825 square feet of the second floor of the historic fire station to be used by CRA. The layout includes the following. • (8) Offices • (8) Cubicles • Conference Room & Break area • Ancillary spaces • Outdoor area 11. SCOPE OF WORK The work shall be developed in accordance with the detailed requirements of the PSA, under article A3.02-7. • Develop based on program input from the CRA space plans, interior colors, materials and finishes not otherwise specified for the Facility. These shall be presented as color finish and furniture boards. • Prepare a preliminary Statement of Probable Project Cost, based on the recommended design concept and on current costs for projects of similar scope and quality • Upon approval prepare Interior Design Documents consisting of Drawings, Specifications and other documents setting forth in detail the requirements for the interior work necessary for the Facility, selecting & specifing all furniture & furnishings and materials; within the established budget. The work described by such interior design documents is intended to be contracted by the Owner (CRA). • Assist owner in selection of furnishings vendor.. • On site visits to assess delivery & installation of furnishings is compliance with design intent. 2780 S.W. COMPENSATION Consultant shall perform the Work detailed in this Proposal for a Total Lump Sum, Not to Exceed fee of Tne Thousand Dollars and Zero cents ($ 10,000). The City shall not be liable for any fee, cost, expense or reimbursable expense or other compensation beyond this amount unless additional fees and expenses are authorized. Said fee does NOT include an allowance for Reimbursable Expenses and Additional Services required in connection with the Work, since the base PSA has funds for that purpose if authorized, needed. Schedule of Payments shall be made in proportion to the tasks completed base on the following: A. Work Activity Phase 2B (Interior Design Services- FF&E) 1 Initial meeting with CRA 2 Develop plans & color scheme 3 Presentation to CRA for approval 4 Develop final plans and specs for FFE 5 Cost estimate for FFE 6 Assist CRA in contracting with FFE vendor 7 On site visits to asses delivery and installation IV.
