2012-2013 Goals & Objectives
• Continue to focus on crime prevention
• Quality of life improvement
• Removal of slum and blight conditions
• Enhance the visual attractiveness to
businesses, residents and visitors.
• Minimize adverse impacts on existing
commercial and industrial users.
2012-2013 Goals & Objectives
➢ Continue to meet monthly with our
partners (C.R.A., business meetings, and
community meetings)
➢Quarterly Ridding Assignments
➢ 3 Avenue Business Beat Detail
➢Rainbow Village Beat Initiative
➢Culmer Community Beat Initiative
➢Proactive Crime Reduction Operations
The High Visibility Grant is an enhanced
police service above and beyond the normal
staffing. This allows us to concentrate our
efforts on community policing.
Through the use of this grant we implement
strategies which place a high value on new
responses. These responses are preventive in nature
and engage other public agencies, the community
and the private sector when their involvement has
the potential for significantly contributing to the
reduction of crime.
