Grant purpose:
Art Basel Special Events Shuttle
The Downtown Miami Partnership is seeking grant funds for an Art
Basel Special Event Bus Shuttle service to promote local art events
within the CRA - Omni & SEOPW Districts. This special event shuttle
service will help advance the CRA'.s goals of promoting local businesses
and marketing restaurant and venues within the CRA redevelopment
districts.
The Downtown Miami Partnership proposes to administer this grant to
provide a FREE shuttle bus service that will work as a circulator taking
people/event attendees from NE 36th Street through the Omni & SEOPW
CRA's and into the Flagler corridor and back through the Overtown
commercial district -NW 3 Ave. (see attached for the specific route, map
and location of STOPS).
This special shuttle service will run from November 30th, 2010.-
December 5, 2010. Three (3) bus shuttles (20 passenger shuttles) will
be circulating through the proposed route starting at 11:00 a.m. up to
12:00 midnight. All buses will be ADA compliant, PMC licensed and
FREE of Charge for the user.
Each shuttle will have a static -cling sign that says FREE Art Basel -
Special Event Shuttle. The CRA Logo will be included on the shuttle
signage and on any other advertising and/or promotional materials that
will be done to promote the shuttle.
In addition to the requested CRA grant funding DMP is working with the
Miami DDA and Wynwood Arts District Assn to provide funding for this
shuttle.

Head South to:
2nd Stop - NE 29th Street & Miami Avenue (SCOPE)
3rd Stop - NE 23rd Street & Miami Avenue (SOHO Studios)
OMNI CRA 4th Stop - NE 14 Street & Miami Avenue (Ice Palace)
SEOPW CRA 5th Stop - NE 10 Street & Miami Avenue (CIFO)

Make a left on NE 7th Street and go to Biscayne Blvd on Biscayne Make a right hand turn and
head South to:
7th Stop - NE 4th Street & Biscayne Blvd (Across from Bayside), continue South on Biscayne
Blvd to East Flagler Street make a right hand turn on Flagler and
8th Stop - 3rd Avenue and East Flagler Street (Across from Alberto Cortes & Tre Italian Bistro)
9th Stop - Corner of Flagler Street & Miami Avenue (Across from Macy's Dept. store & Lime
Fresh Mexican Grill @ 7 West Flagler Street)
10th Stop - on Flagler between NW 1 Ave & NW 2nd Ave by Miami Art Museum (MAM)
Make a right on NW ,2 Avenue and continue going north to NW 6 Street and make a left and
continue straight until NW 3 Ave and make a right on NW 3rd Avenue and
SEOPW CRA. 11th Stop - on NW 3 Ave & 10thStreet (Jackson Soul Food)
Continue going north on NW 3 Avenue and make a right (east) on NW 20th Street, continue on
NW 20th Street and make a left (north) on NW 2 Avenue back to NE 36th Street and start the route
over again.
