Please be advised that the scope of work as described below, for the proposed Bicentennial Park Cafe Property
Demolition Project, is based on a site inspection meeting that I had with Tim Schmand and Daniel Perez of the Bayfront
Park Management on 04/20/10. Tim advised me on what the specific work items would be for the Project. They are as
follows:
Demolition/Removal of the following:
• The entire Cafeteria Structure
• All retaining wall structures surrounding or within the Cafeteria Site
• The Entire Outdoor Patio Structure (including the concrete slabs, walls and pole structures)
• Removal of trees in the path of demolition only
The Demolition cost estimates for the following are based on the City of Miami's Demolition Contract (Current Contract
expires at the end of May 2010) which also includes all permits (as pass through costs), asbestos survey and estimated
Jumping fees (as pass through costs):
1. Cafeteria property Demolition: $56,595
2. Fountain Structure Demolition: $13,362
