Villacorta, Executive Director SEOPW CRA 49 NW 5th Street Suite 100 Miami, Florida 33128 Dear Mr. Villacorta: Poinciana Village Condominium Association Inc. would like to Thank the SEOPW CRA for the past support over the last 7 years. We are requesting financial assistance in the amount of $15,000.00 to construct a security fence/perimeter around our pool area located on Block 46. The residents of Poinciana Village Condominium Association are excited about the March 15, 2010 vote of SEOPW CRA board to approve the financial assistance to renovate Thereodore Gibson Park. Per the City of Miami Park Director, the public pool located in the park will be closed. Due to this closure, we anticipate the local children will attempt to use our pool. Due to severe budget cuts, we are no longer able to employ a security guard. Last summer, we had to contact the City of Miami Police 21 times to remove non-residents/children from our pool area. There were several other incidents that residents had to asked non-resident/children to leave the property due to trespassing in the pool area.
