A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE SOUTHEAST
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AUTHORIZING ISSUANCE OF A WORK ORDER, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED $18,300, TO DEMOLITION MASTERS, INC. FOR DEMOLITION AND
REMOVAL OF THE BUILDING, AT 910 NORTHWEST 2nd COURT, MIAMI,
FLORIDA; FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $18,300 TO BE ALLOCATED FROM
SEOPW TAX INCREMENT FUND, "OTHER CONTRACTUAL SERVICES,"
ACCOUNT CODE NO. 10050,920101.534000.0000.00000.
WHEREAS, the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency is
responsible for carrying out community redevelopment activities and projects in accordance with its
approved Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA")
acquired the Building, at 910 Northwest 2nd Court, Miami, Florida; and
WHEREAS, the building is in a severe state of disrepair, and poses a danger to the health,
welfare, and safety of the general public; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami's Department of Capital Improvement and Transportation has
estimated the cost to repair the building to be at least $2.2 million; and
WHEREAS, the CRA has solicited proposals for demolition and removal; and
WHEREAS, Demolition Masters, Inc., a vendor on the City's list of approved contractors, has
submitted the lowest proposal; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners wishes to authorize the issuance of a work order to
Demolition Masters, Inc. for demolition and clearing of the property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The issuance of a work order to Demolition Masters, Inc., in an amount not to
exceed $18,300, for the demolition and removal at the Building, 910 Northwest 2nd Court, Miami,

Florida, is authorized.
Section 3. Funds are to be allocated from SEOPW Tax Increment Fund, "Other Contractual
Services," Account Code No. 10050.920101.534000.0000.00000.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
