RE: REQUEST FOR GRANT TO COVER REQUIRED EXPENSES FOR FPL POWER VAULT
Dear Mr. Villacorta:
Please accept this cover letter as a formal request on behalf of Phazon Management
Group, LLC for Players of Miami, LLC d/b/a TWILO to be reimbursed the total amount
of $57,800.00, which Players expended last year to install an electric power vault at 'WILO
Nightclub in the 24-hour Entertainment District as required by Florida Power and Light.
Attached, please find support documentation for this expenditure to include:
1. Architectural Firm's fetter requiring vault Installation
2. Invoice copy with General Contractor to construct required vault.
3. Copy of payment to General Contractor for vault construction.
We are aware that these types of required infrastructure improvements have
qualified before for other entities for CRA grants to assist in improving
the facilities. We want to point out that this ,improvement stays with the
facility even if we are to vacate the premises and as such is a permanent
infrastructure improvement unlike some grants that may be utilized to
purchase equipment that can be moved should the business move.
We have invested over $2,500,000.00 into TWILO. However, we did not have the
FPL vault allocated as a foreseen expense in our construction budget. This created an
unforeseen financial hardship and we are respectfully requesting favorable consideration from
you and the City Commissioners in approving this grant request for this financial relief.

Dear Sirs:
This is to certify that the above mentioned site was visited and had an inspection
performed in order to determine lithe building has enough electrical power to
operate.
According to the load accessed on the transformer currently powering the club
the addition of new load for current club operation will not be possible. The only
way the clubs full electrical demand can be met is by connecting to the new FPL
vault:
As a routine matter, in order to avoid possible misunderstandings, nothing in this
report should be construed directly or indirectly as a guarantee for any portion of
the electrical. To the best of our knowledge and ability, this report represents an
accurate appraisal of the present condition of the Building, based upon careful
evaluation of observed conditions, to extent reasonably possible.
