A JOINT RESOLUTION OF THE BOARDS OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST AND OMNI REDEVELOPMENT
DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCIES ("CRAS") RATIFYING
THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S PAYMENT OF ADDITIONAL FUNDS, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $4,600, TO PREFERRED GOVERNMENTAL INSURANCE TRUST
FOR WORKERS' COMPENSATION INSURANCE COVERAGE FOR THE PERIOD
COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2005 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2006;
AMENDING CRA RESOLUTION CRA-R-06-0004 TO REFLECT THE INCREASE IN
THE COST OF COVERAGE RESULTING FROM THE CARRIER'S YEAR END
AUDIT OF THE CRAS' PAYROLL, FROM $5,594 TO $10,194; FUNDS TO BE
ALLOCATED FROM GENERAL OPERATING FUND, "INSURANCE LIABILITY,"
ACCOUNT CODE NO. 689004.550011.6.650.
WHEREAS, pursuant to CRA Resolution CRA-R-06-0004, adopted January 30, 2006, the Boards
of Commissioners of the Southeast Overtown/Park West and Omni Redevelopment District
Community Redevelopment Agencies ("CRAs"), ratified the Executive Director's renewal of workers'
compensation insurance coverage with Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust ('PGIT"), in the
amount of $5,594, for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2005 and ending September 30, 2006;
and
WHEREAS, the insurance carrier's year end audit of the CRAs' payroll determined that an
additional $4,600 was due for workers' compensation insurance coverage; and
WHEREAS, to ensure uninterrupted workers' compensation insurance coverage, the Executive
Director authorized the additional payment to PGIT; and
WHEREAS, the Boards of Commissioners wish to ratify the Executive Director's payment of said
additional funds;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARDS OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST AND THE OMNI REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCIES OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Executive Director's payment of additional funds, in the amount of $4,600, to
Preferred Governmental Insurance Trust for workers' compensation insurance coverage for the period
commencing October 1, 2005 and ending September 30, 2006, is ratified.
Section 3. CRA Resolution CRA-R-06-0004, adopted January 30, 2006, is amended to reflect a
premium increase for worker's compensation insurance coverage in the amount of $4,600, from

$5,594 to $10,194, resulting from an audit evaluation of the CRAB' payroll for Fiscal Year 2005-2006.
Section 4. Funds are to be allocated from General Operating Fund, "Insurance Liability," Account
Code No. 689004.550011.6.650.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
