A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE SOUTHEAST
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AUTHORIZING A GRANT, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $25,000, TO THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FOR THOSE ELEMENTS OF ITS "WAKE UP MIAMI" CAMPAIGN
TAKING PLACE WITHIN THE COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AREA,
CONTINGENT UPON THE CITY DEMONSTRATING THAT THE CAMPAIGN IS IN
ACCORDANCE WITH THE CRA'S APPROVED REDEVELOPMENT PLAN;
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AT HIS DISCRETION, TO
DISBURSE THE GRANT FUNDS DIRECTLY TO SUPPLIERS AND VENDORS
UPON RECEIPT OF INVOICES AND SATISFACTORY SUPPORTING
DOCUMENTATION; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE
ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR SAID PURPOSE; ALLOCATING FUNDS
FROM SEOPW TIF FUND, "OTHER GRANTS AND AIDS," ACCOUNT CODE NO.
686001.590320.6.940.
WHEREAS, the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA")
is responsible for carrying out community redevelopment activities and projects within the Southeast
Overtown/Park West Redevelopment Area in accordance with its approved Redevelopment Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners wishes to authorize a grant to the City of Miami for its
"Wake Up Miami" campaign subject to certain conditions;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. A grant, in an amount not to exceed $25,000, to the City of Miami, for those elements
of its "Wake up Miami" campaign taking place within the community redevelopment area, is authorized
contingent upon the City demonstrating that the campaign is in accordance with the CRA's approved
redevelopment plan.
Section 3. The Executive Director is authorized, at his discretion, to disburse the grant on a
reimbursement basis for completed and approved work, or directly to suppliers and vendors, upon
receipt of invoices and satisfactory documentation.
Section 4. The Executive Director is authorized to execute all necessary documents for said
purpose.
Section 5. Funds are to be allocated from SEOPW TIF Fund, "Other Grants and Aids," Account

Section 6. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
