A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTHEAST
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA"),
WITH ATTACHMENT(S), APPROVING AND ADOPTING THE CRA'S AMENDED
GENERAL OPERATING AND TAX INCREMENT FUND BUDGETS FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING OCTOBER 1, 2005 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30,
2006, REFLECTING THE ELIMINATION OF THE ANNUAL CONTRIBUTION BY
THE CITY OF MIAMI; AND DIRECTING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO
TRANSMIT A COPY OF EACH BUDGET TO THE CITY OF MIAMI AND
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, on June 23, 2005, by Resolution CRA-R-05-0026, the Board of Directors of the
Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA"), adopted the CRA's
General Operating and Tax Increment Fund Budgets for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2005
and ending September 30, 2006, which included a contribution of $659,388.00 from the City of Miami
as provided for by Inter -Local Agreement between the CRA and the City; and
WHEREAS, on September 8, 2005, the Miami City Commission held a hearing to consider the
CRA's General Operating and Tax Increment Fund Budgets, for the Fiscal Year commencing October
1, 2005 and ending September 30, 2006, and by Resolution No. 05-00788, accepted and adopted
said budgets provided that they would be amended to eliminate the City's contribution; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors wishes to amend the CRA's Fiscal Year 2006 General
Operating and Tax increment Fund Budgets to reflect the elimination of the City's contribution;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTHEAST
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The attached Amended CRA General Operating and Tax Increment Fund Budgets, for
the Fiscal Year commencing October 1, 2005 and ending September 30, 2006, reflecting the
elimination of the annual contribution by the City of Miami, are approved and adopted.
Section 3. The Executive Director is directed to transmit a copy of each budget to the City of
Miami and Miami -Dade County.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
