FOR FACADE IMPROVEMENTS, INCLUDING THE INSTALLATION OF PERIMETER LIGHTING AND THE REPLACEMENT OF EXTERIOR WINDOWS, AT ITS FACILITY AT 726 NORTHEAST 1ST AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, AT HIS DISCRETION, TO DISBURSE THE GRANT ON A REIMBURSEMENT BASIS FOR COMPLETED AND APPROVED WORK, OR DIRECTLY TO SUPPLIERS AND VENDORS, UPON RECEIPT OF INVOICES AND SATISFACTORY DOCUMENTATION; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY FOR SAID PURPOSE; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM SEOPW TAX INCREMENT FUND, "OTHER GRANTS AND AIDS," ACCOUNT CODE NO. 689001.550108.6.940. WHEREAS, the Southeast Overtown/Park West Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") is responsible for carrying out community redevelopment activities and projects within the Southeast Overtown/Park West Redevelopment Area in accordance with its approved Redevelopment Plan; and WHEREAS, in an effort to mitigate the perceived blighting influence of its facility at 726 Northeast lst Avenue, Miami, Florida, Camillus House, Inc. has requested that the Southeast OvertownlPark West Community Redevelopment Agency provide a grant in the amount of $50,000 for facade improvements, including the installation of perimeter lighting and the replacement of exterior windows; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors wishes to authorize the grant; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTHEAST OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. A grant, in an amount not to exceed $50,000, to Camillus House, Inc. for facade improvements, including the installation of perimeter lighting and the replacement of exterior windows, at its facility at 726 Northeast 1st Avenue, Miami, Florida, is authorized. Section 3. The Executive Director is authorized, at his discretion, to disburse the grant on a 411 reimbursement basis for completed and approved work, or directly to suppliers and vendors, upon receipt of invoices and satisfactory documentation. Funds are to be allocated from SEOPW Tax Increment Fund, "Other Grants and Aids," Account Code No. 689001.550108.6.940. Section 6.
