A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE OMNI
REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
AUTHORIZING FUNDS, iN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $19,000, FORA
TRAFFIC ACCESS STUDY, TO BE PERFORMED THROUGH THE CITY A
MIAMI'S DEPARTMENT OF CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS, TO ANALYZE
TRAFFIC PATTERNS AFFECTING THE HOTELS ALONG NORTH BAYSHORE
DRIVE BETWEEN NORTHEAST 15TH STREET AND NORTHEAST
TERRACE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, AND TO IDENTIFY POSSIBLE SOLUTIONS,
INCLUDING ENHANCED SIGNAGE AT THE INTERSECTIONHEAST � 7TH
BOULEVARD AND 1-395; AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVEOFDIRECTOR

EXECUTE ALL NECESSARY DOCUMENTS FOR SAID PURPOSE; ALLOCATING
TO
FUNDS FROM OMNI TIF FUND, "PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OTHER,"
ACCOUNT CODE NO. 686001.590320.6.270. ER
WHEREAS, new construction along North Bayshore Drive in the Omni Redevelopment
Community Redevelopment Agency's ("CRA") redevelopment area has severely
affic
entering and exiting the hotels along District
Northeast 17th Terrace, Miami, Florida aN�odrth Bayshore Drive between Northeast 15tha5treetcted rand
WHEREAS, there may be a need for additional signage at the intersection of Biscayne Boulevard
and 1-395 to assist visitors in locating the hotels in this area; and
WHEREAS, a traffic access study is needed to analyze traffic
patterns and identify potential

solutions, including additional signage, for possible inclusion in the CRA's Ca
WHEREAS, the City of Miami's Department of Capital Improvement p Projects Plan; and
this study performed, subject to the CRA providing funding, and has selected Pects as agreed to havearsons Brinkerhoff,
from its List of approved consultants, to perform the study at a cost not to exceed
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors wishes to authorize fundin for$19„DOO, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE THE OMNI

Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are ado

Section 3.The Executive Director is authorized to execute all necessary documents for said
purpose
