The Phase One work has been completed in accordance with the original plan. The Phase One budget of $30,000 was funded by the DDA ($15,000) and the CRA ($15,000). Nottingham) City of Miami Legislation CRA Resolution: CRA-R-04-0002 City Hall 3500 Pan American Drive Miami, FL 33133 www.ci.miami.fl.us File Number: 04-00827 Final Action Date:7i26/2004 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE OMNI REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA") RATIFYING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR'S ACTIONS IN COMMITTING THE CRA TO CO-SPONSOR, WITH THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY AS LEAD AGENCY, A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY OF THE PARKING REQUIRED IN THE OMNI REDEVELOPMENT AREA TO ACCOMMODATE THE PERFORMING ARTS CENTER OF GREATER MIAMI; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CONTRIBUTION OF UP TO $15,000 TOWARD THE COST OF THE STUDY TO BE DISBURSED ON A REIMBURSEMENT BASIS IN PROPORTION TO THE CONTRIBUTIONS OF THE OTHER COSPONSORS; FUNDS TO BE ALLOCATED FROM OMNI TAX INCREMENT FUND "PROFESSIONAL SERVICES - OTHER," ACCOUNT CODE NO. 686001.590320.6.270 WHEREAS, parking for the Performing Arts Center Of Greater Miami ("PAC") currently under construction in the Omni Redevelopment Area will be a critical factor in its success; and WHEREAS, the success or failure of the PAC will directly impact on the redevelopment in the Omni Redevelopment Area; and WHEREAS, the Downtown Development Authority has issued a Request for Proposals to perform a parking study in the Omni Redevelopment Area and requested that the CRA and others cosponsor the study by assuming a portion of its cost; and WHEREAS, due to time constraints and the urgent need for the study, the Executive Director committed the CRA as a cosponsor of the study; and WHEREAS, it is appropriate for the Board of Directors to ratify the Executive Director's actions and authorize the expenditure of funds; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE OMNI REDEVELOPMENT DISTRICT COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by referenoe and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section. Section 2. The Board of Directors ratifies the Executive Director's actions in committing the CRA to . co-sponsor, with the Downtown Development Authority as lead agency, a comprehensive study of the parkingrequired in the Omni Redevelopment Area to accommodate the Performing Arts Center of Greater Miami.
