A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE SOUTHEAST
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("CRA")
AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER,
IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $11,310, TO ARBOR DESIGNS, INC. FOR
MONTHLY MAINTENANCE FOR ONE YEAR ON FOURTEEN CRA OWNED
VACANT LOTS, TO INCLUDE MOWING, HEDGE TRIMMING, AND DEBRIS
REMOVAL; FUNDS TO BE ALLOCATED FROM SEOPW TIF FUND, "OTHER
CONTRACTUAL," ACCOUNT CODE NO. 689001.550108.6.340.
WHEREAS, the CRA owns fourteen vacant lots which require regular maintenance, including
mowing, hedge trimming, and debris removal; and
WHEREAS, the CRA issued a Request for Proposals for maintenance of the lots and received
nine proposals (eight responsive and one non -responsive); and
WHEREAS, Arbor Designs Inc. was determined to be the lowest responsive bidder; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors wishes to direct the Executive Director to issue a purchase
order to Arbor Designs, Inc. for lot maintenance;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SOUTHEAST
OVERTOWN/PARK WEST COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Executive Director is authorized to issue a Purchase Order, in an amount not to
exceed $11,310, to Arbor Designs, Inc. for monthly maintenance, for one year on fourteen CRA owned
vacant lots, to include mowing, hedge trimming, and debris removal.
Section 3. Funds are to be allocated from SEOPW TIF Fund, "Other Contractual," Account
Code No. 689001.550108.6.340.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
