A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE MIDTOWN
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY ("MCRA") AUTHORIZING THE
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR TO EXECUTE A LEASE AGREEMENT, IN A FORM
ACCEPTABLE WITH GENERAL COUNSEL, WITH KONICA MINOLTA BUSINESS
SOLUTIONS USA, INC. FOR THE LEASE OF A PHOTOCOPIER, INCLUDING
MAINTENANCE AND SUPPLIES, FOR A PERIOD OF THREE (3) YEARS, AT A
BASE COST OF $170 PER YEAR, AND NOT TO EXCEED $511 IN TOTAL FOR
THE NEXT THREE (3) YEARS; INCLUDING AN ALLOWANCE IN AN AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED $10 PER MONTH, AS REQUIRED, FOR EXCESS COPIES;
FUNDS TO BE ALLOCATED FROM MIDTOWN GENERAL OPERATING FUNDS,
"RENTALS AND LEASES," ACCOUNT NO. 10030.920101.544000.0000.00000.
WHEREAS, the Midtown Community Redevelopment Agency ("CRA") require the use of a
photocopier in the course of their activities; and
WHEREAS, the CRAs' lease with Sharp Business Systems, for one (1) color capable
photocopier expired April 30, 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Department of General Services Administration ("GSA") solicited
proposals on behalf of the CRAfor a three (3) year lease of a photocopier, including maintenance and
supplies; and
WHEREAS, Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc., provided the lowest priced proposal;
and
WHEREAS, the Boards of Commissioners wish to authorize the Executive Director to execute
a Lease Agreement with Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc.; for a color copier, including
maintenance and supplies for a period of three (3) years, with the option to renew for one (1)
additional year, at a base cost of $170 per year, including an allowance in an amount not to exceed
$10 per year, as required, for excess copies;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARDS OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE
MIDTOWN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted
by reference and incorporated herein as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Executive Director is authorized to execute a Lease Agreement, in a form
acceptable to general counsel, with Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA, Inc. for the lease of a
photocopier, including maintenance and supplies, for a period of three (3) years, with a option for one
(1) additional year, at a base cost of $170 per year, including an allowance in an amount not to exceed
$10 per month, as required, for excess copies.

Section 3. Funds are to be allocated as follows: $57 from FY 2011 General Operating Funds,
"Rentals and Leases," Account No. 10030.920101.544000.0000.00000; $170 from FY 2012 General
Operating Funds, "Rentals and Leases," Account No. 10030.920101.544000.0000.00000; $170 from
FY 2013 General Operating Funds, "Rentals and Leases," Account No.
10030.920101.544000.0000.00000; and $113 from FY 2014 General Operating Funds, "Rentals and
Leases," Account No. 10030.920101.544000.0000.00000.
Section 4. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
