NOTICE OF BUSINESS ASSISTANCE WORKSHOP
The Southeast Overtown Park West Community Redevelopment Agency
and the Omni Redevelopment District Community Redevelopment Agency
(CRA) in conjunction with the City of Miami Overtown NET Office are host-
ing a free business assistance workshop, featuring presentations by Miami
Dade College, Florida Memorial College, Microbusiness USA, National
Development Council and Accion scheduled for Friday, April 1, 2005, from
9:00 am to 12:00 pm., at Miami Dade College Entrepreneurial Education
Center located at 6300 NW 27th Avenue, Room 1103, for the purpose of
discussing technical assistance and financing options. This workshop is
geared for local business owners and entrepreneurs, who are interested in
obtaining the tools necessary to secure additional funds, increase market
share, or start up a business, among other topics.
These community and educational organizations have partnered in a collab-
orative effort to assist businesses in maintaining or starting their own suc-
cessful company. Find out about business plans; learn about financial state-
ments; and meet with staff individually, to discuss your business!
All interested persons are encouraged to attend. Please contact the CRA
office at 305-679-6800 to RSVP, by March 30, 2005.
