STREET, NORTHEAST 75THSTREET AND NORTHEAST 77THSTREET 8TTHE
EASTERLY SIDE OFTHEIR INTERSECTION WITH NORTHEAST 8THCOURT,

BICYCLE AND EMERGENCY VEHICLE ACCESS THROUGH THE BARRICADES,

CONDITIONS /\GMORE PARTICULARLY SET FORTH HEREIN,
WHEREAS, onApril 1O,1986,the City Commission adopted Resolution No. O6'291directing
permanent prohibition of vehicular access to certain streets in the Belle Meade neighborhood, subject
10certain conditions; and
WHEREAS, a condition of approval of said prohibition of vehicular access is that access for
emergency vehicles beallowed otall times through said barricades; and

the installation of metal picket fences across each of the five existing barricades to restrict pedestrian

NOW, THEREFORE, BE|TRESOLVED BYTHE COMMISSION OFTHE CITY <]FK8kAM[
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are adopted by
reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The Miami City Commission directs that pedestrian, bicycle and emergency vehicle
access be prohibited through the permanent vehicular access restriction barricades located at
Northeast 72ndTerrace, Northeast73rd 8treet, Northeant74th Gtreet, Northeast 75th Street and
Northeast 77th Street stthe easterly side oytheir intersection with NodheaotOth Court, KNimm|. Florida,
subject to the following conditions:
m)approval cf the Miami -Dade County Traffic Director;
b) said restriction of access shall be accomplished by the installation of a six (6) foot tall metal
picket fence installed inand across each of the five existing vehicular access restriction barricades
extending from the back ofthe sidewalk onone side of the roadway tothe back ofsidewalk onthe
opposite side of the romdway, containing no gate, ensuring no pedestrimn, bicycle and emergency
vehicle access toand from the Belle Meade neighborhood;
c>the Department ofPublic Works shall approve the design of the aforesaid fence; and

Section 3. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption arid signature of

{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar days
from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
