To authorize the City Manager to execute a Maintenance Agreement with the Marlins Stadium Developer, LLC
(Developer), to 11121111 and maintain nonstandard improvements within the public right-of-way and the City of
Miami (City) owned private drives as described in Exhibit C (attached).
Background Information:
As part of the public infrastructure scope of work for the Marlins Stadium Project, new street lighting will be
installed•throughout surrounding streets. The Developer opted for an upgrade to use decorative light poles/fhxtures
rather than the standard FPL light poles. Since the FPL standard pole Is not being used, it will not be maintained by
FPL. As such, the City requires the Developer to be responsible for the maintenance and replacement of these
upgraded street lighting elements throughout the term of the Operating Agreement between the Marlins, County
and City. At no cost to the City, the Developer shall repair, replace or remove said improvements es requested by
the Director of the Public Works Department
