Subject: Accept - Five (5) Right of Way Deeds of Dedication
Purpose of Item:
A Resolution authorizing the City Manager to accept five (5) Right -of -Way Deeds of
dedication, for right-of-way purposes, and approving and authorizing the recordation of
said deeds in the Public Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Background of Item:
The Department of Resilience and Public Works, through its continued efforts to secure
dedications of needed public right-of-way for widening of City streets, has received five
(5) Right -of -Way Deeds of dedication proffered by various entities pursuant to Section
54-58 of the City Code. The Department has reviewed the deeds and received legal
counsel concerning said Resolution and has determined that it is now in order for
acceptance by the City Commission.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, WITH ATTACHMENT(S),
ACCEPTING FIVE (5) RIGHT-OF-WAY DEEDS OF DEDICATION ("DEEDS"), AS
DESCRIBED IN EXHIBIT "A," ATTACHED AND INCORPORATED, FOR RIGHT-OF-
WAY PURPOSES; APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE RECORDATION OF THE
DEEDS IN THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, FLORIDA; FURTHER
DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK TO RETAIN A COPY OF THE DEEDS.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami's ("City") Department of Resilience and Public Works
("Department") recommends the acceptance of five (5) Right -of -Way Deeds of Dedication
("Deeds") for the properties described in "Exhibit A," attached and incorporated; and
WHEREAS, the Department finds it is in the best interest of the City to accept the Deeds
pursuant to Section 54-58 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The recitals and findings contained in the Preamble to this Resolution are
adopted by reference and incorporated as if fully set forth in this Section.
Section 2. The City Manager is authorized' and directed to accept the Deeds for the
properties described in Exhibit "A," attached and incorporated, for right-of-way purposes.
Section 3. The City Commission authorizes the recordation of the Deeds in the Public
Records of Miami -Dade County, Florida.
Section 4. The City Clerk is directed to retain copies of the Deeds.
Section 5. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
