Position: Executive Vice President / Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer
• Negotiated leases at Yankee, Shea, Giant and Downing Stadiums.
• Won four North American Soccer League Championships in six years.
• Lncreased their revenues at a rate of 200% per year for six consecutive years,
improving average game attendance from 800 people per game in 1974 to over 60,000
people in 1980.
• Organized tours and international tournaments with the best teams in the world in 46
countries including a tour of the People's Republic of China in 1977, becoming the
first professional team of any sport to visit China.
• Negotiated and signed to contracts famous players such as Pele from Brazil, Franz
