The Equal Opportunity Advisory Board was created to review and recommend to the City
Commission the adoption of amendments/revisions to the City's affirmative action plan. The board
also reviews employment policies and practices of the City and makes recommendations to the
Department of Employee Relations.
One (1) Employment waiver is required at this time: *
• Edilfa Perez, appointed by Commissioner Suarez on September 16, 2010 is a full-time
Dade County Employee and a City resident; requires the waiver of employment
restriction of Section 2-884 (e) by a four/fifths (4/5ths) affirmative vote of the
Commission.
For your convenience, we are including a copy of the current membership of said board. By copy
of this memorandum, we are requesting that the Agenda Office place this issue on the February 10,
2011 Commission agenda.
