Federal regulations goveming Community Development Block Grant ("CDBG") and other United States Department of Housing and Urban Development
("HUD") programs require that a participating jurisdiction provide citizens with reasonable notice of, and an opportunity to comment on, any amendments
to funding of HUD programs. The public is advised of the proposed amendment(s) to the funding of the City program(s) indicated below:
1. Discussion and proposed resolution accepting Neighborhood Stabilization Program 3 ("NSP3") grant funds from HUD in the amount of $4,558,939
under the Dodd -Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act.
2. Discussion and proposed resolution approving the City of Miami's NSP3 Substantial Amendment to the City's Annual Action Plan for Fiscal Year
2010-2011 and the Implementation Policies.
3. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing an extension of time to Miami Dream Homes Investment Group, Inc. to complete construction and.
convey the CD Building Project, located at 1525 Northwest 60th Street to the City of Miami from December 30, 2010 to June 30, 2011.
4. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the transfer of funds from the City of Miami Department of Community Development Housing
Activities Fund in the amount of $500,000 to be transferred to the Single Family Rehabilitation and Replacement Home Programs to be utilized for the
rehabilitation and replacement of single family homes for low to moderate income families.
5. Discussion and proposed resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute an amendment to the $2.7 million in CDBG contract for the Disaster
Recovery Program between the City of Miami and Miami -Dade County extending the contract expiration date to December 30, 2011.
The adoption of this Ordinance/Resolution, by the City Commission, authorizes the City Manager to draft/ amend the appropriate City of Miami annual Action Plan.
t This item(s) will be available for public comment and review for a period of no less than 30 days. The review end comment period begins Tuesday, January 11, 2011, and ends
Wednesday, February 9, 2011. The proposed amendment(s) will be presented to City Commission for approval on Thursday, February 10, 2011 (public hearing).
