Purpose of Item: A Resolution of the Miami City Commission authorizing the (1) acceptance of one (1) reimbursement grant from 21st Century Community Learning Center through Miami -Dade County Public Schools, respectively, the Miami Learning Zone Out -of -School program at Holmes Elementary School ($59,105.00), (2) creating the related Special Revenue Project funds to appropriate said funds, (3) authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and to execute, after consultation with the City Attorney, contracts with Miami -Dade County Public Schools in substantially the attached form to implement the acceptance of said grant. Background Information: In addition to the above information: (1) For the Miami Leaning Zone Out -of -School Program at Holmes Elementary the City will enter into a Professional Service Agreement for the not to exceed amount of $59,105.00 with Miami -Dade County Public Schools for program facilitator services.
