TYPE OF BENEFIT

SALARY
$185,000 annual salary (bi-weekly)
Effective 01/03/2011
To remain in effect until changed by the City Commission.
Car Allowance
$800 per month
Cellular Phone Allowance
$200 per month

City paid premium for Executive Benefit Plan
City paid premium for 2X Annual Salary
City paid premium for 2X Annual Salary
In the event that a disability plan is offered to other City
executives, the City Manager shall be provided a similar benefit.
EXECUTIVE PHYSICAL
One annual physical
LEAVE TIME
Vacation
Sick
Earned Personal Leave
Holidays
21 days per year
12 days per year
2 days per year
11 days per year
Upon honorable separation, City Manager shall receive payment
of all Vacation and Sick time leave accrued as of the Effective
Date of this Resolution.
Vacation and Sick time accrued after the Effective Date of this
Resolution, which is not used during the time of employment shall
have no cash value. Such Vacation and Sick time shall be
available on a" use -it -or -lose -it" basis during the time of the
employment.
SEVERANCE
The City Manager may be removed pursuant to the process set
forth in the City Charter. If the City Manager is removed without
cause, he shall receive a fixed sum for compensation and
forbearance in an amount equivalent to four months' salary and
benefits. The City Manager shall not receive any severance if he
is terminated for cause, including, but not limited to, neglect of
duty, misfeasance, or malfeasance or if he voluntarily resigns.
DEFERRED COMPENSATION
City will contributes maximum allowed by law. However, if
deferred compensation for comparable executives is reduced or
eliminated, the amount of deferred compensation for the City
Manager will be reduced or eliminated concomitantly.
COLA
Same as granted to the members of the classified or unclassified
service, whichever is higher.
PENSION/RETIREMENT
The City Manager may participate in any retirement plan under
the same terms provided to members of the unclassified service.
