Subject: A resolution accepting the proposed plat of V DOWNTOWN, which is located along the North
side of N.E. 17th Terrace between Biscayne Boulevard and N.E. 4th Avenue.
Purpose of Item:
Resolution of the City Commission accepting the final plat of V DOWNTOWN from V Downtown,
Inc., a Florida corporation,and authorizing the City Manager to execute the related documents for the
recording of the plat.
Background Information:
The Department of Public Works has reviewed this plat and has determined that it is now in order for
acceptance by the City Commission. At this time, the owner has no plans other than securing and
unifying the subject property by creating one (1) tract of land.
The proposed record plat entitled V DOWNTOWN, which includes the closure and vacation of the
10-foot wide alley lying South of and adjacent to Lot 9 and between Lots 5 through 10 of Block 9 of
Plat Book 5 at Page 4, is a replat of the property described in the attached Legal Description. The area
platted consists of one (1) tract of land containing approximately 47,476 square feet (1.09± acres).
This plat was approved under current zoning designation T6-24-0 (Urban Core Zone)
