NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on September 15, 2011, to
consider the approval of an amendment to the existing professional services agreement
with DeLucca Enterprises for the continued operations and management of the City's
Melreese Golf Course and facilities, and to consider the City Manager's recommendation
and finding that competitive sealed bidding is not practicable or advantageous regarding
this issue. Inquires regarding this notice may be addressed to LaCleveia Morley,
Department of Parks and Recreation at (305) 416-1332.
This action is being considered pursuant to Section 18-85 of the Code of the City of
Miami, Florida, as amended. The recommendation and finding to be considered in this
matter are set .forth :in the proposed resolution and in Section 18-85 of the City Code,
which are deemed to be incorporated by reference herein and are available as public
records from the City of Miami. The Public Hearing will be held in conjunction with the
scheduled City Commission meeting of September 15, 2011, at 9:00 a.m., at Miami City
Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida.
All interested individuals are invited to attend this hearing and may comment on the
proposed issue. Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City
Commission with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, that person shall
ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made including all testimony and
evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special
accommodations to participate in this proceeding may contact the Office of the City
