La Junta de Comisionados de Ia Ciudad de Miami celebrara
una Audiencia Publica el 15 de Diciembre, comenzando a
las 9:00 a.m. para considerar si es del mejor interes del
publico que la Junta de Comisonados ratifique, apruebe
y confirme Ia decision del Manager de la Ciudad de
justificar la dispensa del proceso de licitacion sellada
del competidor, incrementando el "Grant Agreement
with Action Community Center, Inc." por $53,334, para
el servicio anticipado de transportacion para personas
mayores de bajos a moderados ingresos y/o desabilitados
residentes de Miami; con contrato extensivo de dos (2)
periodos mensuales desde Diciembre 31, 2011 a Febrero
29, 2012. La extension es requerida en orden de continuar
los servicios durante el periodo transitivo.
La Audiencia Publica se celebrara conjuntamente con la
reunion regular de Ia Junta de Comisionados fijada para el
15 de Diciembre, 2011 en:

Todas las personas interesadas podran asistir a la reunion
y podran expresar su opinion con respecto al asunto

TO APPROVE A GRANT EXTENSION WITH ACTION COMMUNITY CENTER
INC., FOR PRE -ARRANGED TRANSPORTATION SERVICES

The Miami City Commission will hold a Public Hearing on December 15, 2011 beginning at 9:00 a.m. to
consider whether it is in the public's best interest that the City Commission ratify, approve and confirm the
Findings of the City Manager justifying the waiver of competitive sealed bidding procedures, increasing the
Grant Agreement with Action Community Center, Inc. by $53,334, for pre -arranged transportation services
for low to moderate income elderly and/or disabled Miami residents; further extending the Agreement by a
two (2) month period from December 31, 2011 to February 29, 2012. The extension is required in order to
continue services during the transitional period.
The Public Hearing will be held in conjunction with the regularly scheduled City Commission meeting of
December 15, 2011 at:

Miami, Florida
All interested persons may appear at the meeting and may be heard with respect to the proposed issue.
Should any person desire to appeal any decision of the City Commission with respect to any matter to be
considered at this meeting, that person shall ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made in-
cluding all testimony and evidence upon which any appeal may be based (F.S. 286.0105).
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, persons needing special accommodations
