FOR COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS
Notice Ls given that the City Commission of the City, of Miami will
conduct a public hearing to ronstder Imposing Solid Waste oyo42al
assessments for the provision of Solid Waste services within the
City of Miami for the Fiscal Year commencing October 1. 2011 and
ending September 30. 2012.
The hearing will be held at 5:05 p.m. on September 15.2011, In the
City Commission Chambers of City Ha11.3500 Pars American Drive,
Miami, Florida. for the purpose of receiving public comment on the
proposed assessments. All affected property owners have a right
to appear at the hearing and to me written objections with the City
Commission within 20 days of this notice. If a person decides to
appeal any decision made by the City Commissioners with respect
to any matter considered at the hearing, such person will need a
record of the proceedings and uuy need to ensure that a verbatim
record Is made, Including the testimony and eWdence upon which
the appeal Is to be made. In accordance with the Americans with

In January, a man walked
up to the front window of
the Minebeoder jewelry
store end feed at least six
rounds before snatching di-
amonds on display in the
window. After a chafe in-
volving an off -duty police
officer, Brian Kirksey, 26,
wes captured nearby. He
farms eight charges, includ-
ing armed burglary and
shooting into an occupied
dwelling.
Police released video of
this week's robbery in the
hope that someone can
help them catch the rob-
ber Sharaby and his fami-
ly gathered around a laptop
co purer to watch it.
In the video, et about D
a.m. Tuesday, two of the
robbers are seen walking
into the store and trying to
blend in with the custom-
ers. They scope out two
cases, including one filled
with engagement rings.
Among the customers is

mother was shopping be-
fore going on vacation later
that day, said Sharaby. He
described the woman,
whom he would not Identi-
fy, as • longtime customer.
Sharaby said he ap-
proached a mum who said

"That was the code. Ev-

ment he said that," Sharaby
said.

After the heist, which last-
ed six mrinutes, police said,
the men fled in a black late -
model SUV driven by a
fourth man.

Sharaby asked
Lt. Norris Redding,
spokesman for the Holly-
wood Police Department,
used one word to describe
the act of pointing a gun at
an infant: "Despicable."
