Funds are allocated from Urban Areas Security Initiative (UASI) Grant, PATEO: 18-180004, 01.01, 1323, Equip: 181000. Background Information: The City of Miami Fire -Rescue Department has a need to procure Radiation Detection Equipment and Accessories. On June 4, 2010, the Purchasing Department issued an Invitation for Bid (IFB No. 210227). As required by the Procurement Code, the IFB was advertised and issued online. On June 22, 2010, at the bid opening, two (2) bids were submitted and one (1) was deemed non -responsive. The Purchasing Department is recommending award to Fisher Scientific Co., LLC for Group 1 and Group 2, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, on a group by group basis, per bid specifications.
