A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION ACCEPTING THE BID
RECEIVED NOVEMBER 3, 2010, PURSUANT TO INVITATION FOR BID NO.
236248, FROM MWI CORP. D/B/A MOVING WATER INDUSTRIES, THE LOWEST
RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF A
PUMP MOTOR CLUTCH AND DIFFUSER FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
WORKS TO REPAIR A PUMP AT PUMP STATION #1; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM
ACCOUNT CODE 00001.208000.534000.0000.0000.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The bid received November 3, 2010, pursuant to Invitation for Bid No. 236248, from
MWI Corp. d/b/a Moving Water Industries, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, for the
procurement of a pump motor clutch and diffuser for the Department of Public Works to repair a
pump at Pump Station #1, is accepted, with funds allocated from Account Code
00001.208000.534000.0000.0000.
Section 2. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption and signature of
the Mayor.{1}
Footnotes:
{1} If the Mayor does not sign this Resolution, it shall become effective at the end of ten calendar
days from the date it was passed and adopted. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become
effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
