ADDENDUM NO. 1 IFB No. 249240 November 22, 2010 Invitation For Bid for Procurement of Automotive and Related Equipment Parts TO: ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS: The following changes, additions, and clarifications amend the IFB Documents of the above captioned IFB, and shall become an integral part of the Contract Documents. The remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Please note the contents herein and reflect same on the documents you have on hand. In order to further clarify the requirements of this IFB, we are revising the following: 1) Section 2.4., Method of Award is revised to read as follows: For the "Core Items" Price Lines Section, award of this contract may be made to the responsive and responsible bidder(s), meeting Specifications, based on an item -by- • item basis or in the aggregate. The City may select various Successful Bidder(s) for each line or in the aggregate, with the lowest deemed the "Primary Supplier", the next lowest the "Secondary Supplier" and a third lowest as the "Tertiary Supplier", in the order of lowest prices by line or in the aggregate, whichever is in the best interest of the City as enclosed in the "Core Items" Price Lines Section of this bid. Should the "Primary Supplier" not be able to provide the part(s) at the time needed, the City has the option to select the "Secondary Supplier" and so on to fulfill the order. Additionally, for the Header/Attachments Price Lists by Groupings Section, award of this contract may be made to all responsive and responsible bidders meeting Specifications. Suppliers who are unable to produce all of the items identified in the "Core Items" Price - tines Section of -this -bid -may bid their own equivalent items in this section.-- Addendum No. 1 IFB 247232 2) Section 2.9, BIDDERS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS are revised to include the missing time requirement to read as follows: (3) be fully certified and licensed to perform the services and bids will be considered only from firms that are regularly engaged in the business of providing goods and/or services as described in this Bid; that have a record of performance for a minimum period of four (4) years; and that have sufficient financial support, equipment and organization to insure that they can satisfactorily provide the goods and/or services if awarded a Contract under the terms and conditions herein stated.
