Attached is the language for the pocket item on Neisen's appointment. It had previously gone to
the City Commission in October with contingency language. Julie Bru opined that the City
needed to pass it without the contingency language.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT
OF NEISEN KASDIN AS MEMBER OF THE DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY
(DDA) FOR THE TERM DESIGNATED HEREIN.

WHEREAS, the State of Florida may designate a member for a seat on the Board of Directors
of the Miami Downtown Development Authority (DDA), and;
WHEREAS, on August 23, 2010 the state of Florida was advised of the nomination of Neisen
Kasdin for re -appointment to the Miami DDA Board and the State failed to act on the
appointment within thirty (30) days of the request by the board of the authority pursuant to
Section 14-52 of the Code of the City of Miami, Florida, as amended;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Neisen Kasdin is hereby confirmed and appointed as member of the Downtown
Development Authority, to serve a term from 09/01/2010 to 08/31/2014.

City Attorney's review and approval.
