Purpose of Item: To accept a grant award from the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND), in an amount not to exceed $175,000 for the Miami Marine Stadium Restoration — Phase 1 Project (Project); authorizing the City Manager to execute the FIND Project Agreement and any other necessary documents to implement the acceptance of and administration of said grant award. The City will provide the match required by the grantor in an amount not to exceed $175,000 from Capital Improvement Project No. B-30688. Background Information: The City applied for and was awarded a grant in the amount of $175,000 from (FIND) for the restoration of the Miami Marine Stadium located on Virginia Key. This Phase 1 Project will provide a structural assessment of in -the -water structures such as the pilings and seawall. Pursuant to Resolution No. 10- 0146, the City Commission authorized the FIND grant application and authorized the allocation of the City's required matching funds in an amount not to exceed $175,000.
