Dougherty, Esquire, on behalf of Grove Village LLC, Developer, GV Freeport LLC, Contract Purchaser and Edna and Thomas Dermeritte, Owners Miami, FL 33131 (305) 579-0500 Single -Family Residential This will change the above properties to "Restricted Commercial", as presented by the Planning Department and attached as "Exhibit B", for the proposed Grove Village Major Use Special Permit. Recommended denial. See supporting documentation. Recommended denial to City Commission on October 6, 2010 by a vote of 7- 0. Also, recommended approval to City Commission to consider, as per the Letter of Intent of the applicant, dated September 22, 2010, requesting that the Comprehensive Plan amendment include along the north side of Grand Avenue to expand the existing "Restricted Commercial High Density", which fronts Grand Avenue, and transition from the "Restricted Commercial High Density" to "Medium Density" and ultimately "Restricted Commercial Low Density" fronting on Florida Avenue; furthermore, the south side of Grand Avenue proposes to expand the existing "Restricted Commercial High Density", which fronts on Grand Avenue and transition to "Restricted Commercial Medium Density", by a vote of 7-0. City Commission: Passed First Reading with modifications on October 14, 2010.
