City Commission Meeting of
October 14, 2010
As committed at yesterday's briefing with Commissionersstaff and administration, this
is to distribute the official Planning, Zoning and Appeals Board (PZAB) Resolutions
issued at their meeting held on October 6th
These items are all subject to corresponding 30-day waivers. The delay is due to the
close time proximity between the PZAB meeting and the City Commission meeting
during which these items will be heard, which is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
We hope that this information will assist in your consideration of these items. We, as
your staff, remain available to respond to any questions or concerns and provide
additional information, as appropriate, regarding these items.

Ms. Maria Beatriz Gutierrez offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI PLANNING, ZONING AND APPEALS BOARD
RECOMMENDING DENIAL TO THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION, TO AMEND ORDINANCE
NO. 10544, AS AMENDED, THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP OF THE MIAMI
COMPREHENSIVE NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN, PURSUANT TO SMALL SCALE
AMENDMENT PROCEDURES SUBJECT TO §163.3187, FLORIDA STATUTES, BY
CHANGING THE LAND USE DESIGNATION OF THE ACREAGE DESCRIBED HEREIN OF
REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED AT APPROXIMATELY 3380, 3370, 3340 FLORIDA
AVENUE AND 3301 GRAND AVENUE, MIAMI, FLORIDA, FROM "SINGLE-FAMILY
RESIDENTIAL" TO "RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL"; MAKING FINDINGS; DIRECTING
TRANSMI 1 I ALS TO AFFECTED AGENCIES; CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
Upon being seconded by Mr. Charles Garavaglia, the motion was passed and adopted by a

A RESOLUTION OF THE MIAMI PLANNING, ZONING AND APPEALS BOARD
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL TO THE MIAMI CITY COMMISSION TO CONSIDER THE
TRANSITION FROM THE "RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL HIGH DENSITY" TO MEDIUM
DENSITY" AND ULTIMATELY 'RESTRICTED COMMERCIAL LOW DENSITY" FRONTING
FLORIDA AVENUE, AS STATED IN THE APPLICANT'S LETTER OF INTENT (HEREBY
A I I ACHED), DATED SEPTEMBER 22, 2010, FOR THE PROPERTIES LOCATED AT
APPROXIMATELY 3380, 3370, 3340 FLORIDA AVENUE AND 3301 GRAND AVENUE.
