I would like to serve on the Community Relations Board because I believe 11 is working pro -actively In the community
with other professional leaders to help develop bridges of understanding and communication. I work everyday
with the disenfranchised and see the hurt and despair. t betlevo as community leaders working together e can make a difference In the lies
of those broken and help rebuild pathways to assist them to climb back Into being productive In society.

As the Miami Center Programs Director of the Miami Rescue Mission I serve In a very diverse community.
Sometimes tensions behveen our residents various cultural differences allows me to be a medietor in helping resolving

4. What is your understanding of the role of the Community Relations
Board in the City of Miami?
That If accepted to be part of this board you are there to assist and to hopefully be part of this wonderful
cities changes. I think that we are Just to be of assistance to those that are already leading and to be
a bridge between the city and the diverse community that serve.
5. Do you feel that positive inter -group relations can be achieved in the City
of Miami?
I believe that this certainly can be achieved due to the FACT that when you have a strong core of leaders
working together not only can It be positive, but It can be the change that this city needs.
