D/B/A ARGO UNIFORM, THE SOLE RESPONSIVE AND RESPONSIBLE BIDDER, FOR THE PURCHASE OF BREECHES, PUTTEES, AND BOOTS, ON AN AS -NEEDED CONTRACTUAL BASIS, FOR AN INITIAL CONTRACT PERIOD OF ONE (1) YEAR, WITH THE OPTION TO RENEW FOR THREE (3) ADDITIONAL ONE-YEAR PERIODS; ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM THE VARIOUS SOURCES OF FUNDS OF THE USER DEPARTMENTS, SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS AND BUDGETARY APPROVAL AT THE TIME OF NEED; FURTHER AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF PROCUREMENT OFFICER, IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE IFB SECTION 2.15, TO ADD ITEM(S) OR SUPPLIER(S) TO THE CONTRACT WHEN DEEMED IN THE CITY OF MIAMI'S BEST INTEREST WITHOUT FURTHER CITY COMMISSION AUTHORIZATION. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The bid received August 5, 2010, pursuant to Invitation for Bid ("IFB") No. 231226 from Gold Nugget Uniform, Inc. d/b/a Argo Uniform, for the purchase of Breeches, Puttees, and Boots, on an as -needed contractual basis, for an initial contract period of one (1) year, with the option to renew for three (3) additional one-year periods, is accepted, with funds allocated from the various sources of funds of the user departments, subject to the availability of funds and budgetary approval at the time of need. Section 2. The Chief Procurement Officer is authorized(1), in accordance with the IFB Section 2.15, to add item(s) or supplier(s) to the contract when deemed in the City of Miami's best interest without further City Commission authorization. Section 3. If the Mayor vetoes this Resolution, it shall become effective immediately upon override of the veto by the City Commission.
